Recycling Centres for household waste only are at Dingwall Business Park, off the Strathpeffer Road, in Dingwall and off Henderson Drive in Inverness. If you plan to use a trailer or van you will need to complete a declaration_form and present it on arrival. For commercial waste contact the number below.

SEPA have advised us of a number of illegal collection businesses operating via Social Media. Make sure any collection operation has proper waste collection paperwork and is a registered operation. Remember the original waste producer is also liable for illegal fly tipping as a criminal offence. If the deal looks too good it probably is!

The Digital DumpersThere are several tell tale signs that the business you are thinking of hiring may not be legitimate. The public should look out for online adverts that:

  •  Offer cheap or same day waste collection – if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Make sure you’re not pressured to decide.
  • ·Claim to be “SEPA insured” – SEPA do not provide insurance.
  • ·Claiming “waste is all recycled where it can be” – where are they taking the waste?
  • ·Don’t provide any way to contact them other than Direct Messaging
